Alan spent fifteen years in the computing industry while trying to be : a photographer, a painter, drama producer, traveller and Open University student.

During this time he discovered stained glass and trained in London. Now living and working from Somerset he keeps his foot in the IT door by also doing some part time IT teaching as a Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University in Multi media and Computer Animation.
